If you like thrillers, do I have the book for you 📚 It’s about a woman married to a man with two other wives. It’s an arrangement, they all know *about* each other but don’t know each other. When the narrator discovers the name of one of the wives, things unravel from there.

I loved this book. I had no idea what was happening the entire time... the best kind of thriller.

Obsessed with these spanx faux leather biker shorts!

They have the same sheen & hold as the spanx faux leather leggings, but they’re comfortable enough to work out in! I wore them to dance class last week & they carried me through ab & booty workouts, leaps, turns, you name it. Definitely going to order one of the printed pairs too 🤷🏼‍♀️

HIGH PONYTAIL ESSENTIALS 👱🏻‍♀️

1️⃣ Use a good detangler before blow drying. I like this Drybar’s Prep Rally! My hair is noticeably softer & less tangly since adding it into the rotation.

2️⃣ Use the right brush! I love Wet Brush. They’re affordable & work really well with my long hair.

3️⃣ The cable / coil style hair ties are the only thing I’ve found that can actually hold my hair up and keep it up. Oddly enough, my favorites came from J. crew factory, but invisibobble is a great option too!

4️⃣ once my hair is up, I curl the bottom of the ponytail. I keep all of my curls going to same direction.

5️⃣ i break up them curls & fluff up my hair with dry bar’s triple sec.

6️⃣ i smooth any flyaways with a clear hair mascara. I keep an extra in my purse for touch ups throughout the day!

It takes less than 10 minutes & has become my warm weather go to style! 👱🏻‍♀️

Comparing the 8” Lululemon High Rise Align Short & the 6” Lululemon High Rise Align Short!

I personally prefer the 8”. My legs aren’t very long, and the extra length creates a longer line and makes me appear taller 🙌🏻

As for sizing, I’m a 00/0 pretty much across the board, and a 4/6 in Lululemon. A 6 fit better in the 6” and a 4 fit better on the 8”.

happy monday from willie girl & me! i thought we might all enjoy an extra little puppy face on our feed this morning

social media has felt like a really toxic place over the past month, especially the past week. i'm stressed out by the number of "i don't get political" posts, fear mongering to sell things (bonus points for using cancer to scare people!), and influencers being rude to their followers.

i've thought a lot this month about consumer power. (lol i am a marketing nerd, these are actually the things that keep me up at night) your follows, likes, comments, etc. are a currency. use it wisely. i will be this week as i work to make my timeline a place that either makes me smile or teaches me something.

i'm excited to be hosting some giveaways this month to celebrate a milestone birthday! i'm also really excited to use social media as a way to learn more during Black History Month and encourage you to do the same.
