Sharing this #kitchenview which includes my kitchen table/chairs that I have been working on forever, I am almost finished the table. I bleached the top yesterday trying to get that yellow tint out and it is sooo much better (all is saved in a highlight) and today I’m going to whitewash and seal the table top. I’m in the home stretch I think, wish me luck!

Sneak peak at my (in progress) fireplace project, I found the perfect reclaimed barn beam that will be used as the mantel- it was $30.00 on Facebook marketplace, what a steal! Anyhow, it needs a little work to make it showcase worthy so hopefully we can wrap up this project by next week 🤞

I did a little DIY on this desk that was a Walmart dining table (Maddox) to change it to a more beachy look- still trying to decide on chairs but have it narrowed down to the ones below. I’m loving the feminine, woods and whites vibe of my new office 💕

I did buy mine from a different Etsy shop and mine are a set of 6. I saved the framing process in my highlights under ‘Frame it Easy’. It was super easy to download the prints directly to their site and they frame them up for you with no printing from home necessary.
I love these prints because they are winter prints and can be left up long after the holiday is over and honestly, they are just gorgeous. I searched for the perfect ones and as soon as I saw them, I knew I found them.

I finally finished this guest space, just in time for the guests that will be arriving over the holiday season. I saved the process in my highlights, I gave this room a make over with no demolition, no renovation, no installation of any kind which was really hard for me. But I did it and I think it turned out ok, I’m going to add some wall sconces above the bed for some extra light since this room has very low windows and not the best light. But other than that it’s finito 😁
Today, I’ll be online shopping and then heading to my very favorite local antique store that is having an awesome Black Friday sale followed by a little dinner and live music with my hubby so I’m planning on a fantastic Friday and I hope the very same for you ❤️

Happy Sunday! It’s getting all Christmasy up in here this weekend, I shared in stories the hot mess express of my house. I’m not a fan of all the upheaval that goes with switching out seasonal decor but here I am right smack in the middle of it. Budget friendly fall bedroom, want to know how? Well mostly I shopped my house which I highly recommend, it really is fun doing the decor shuffle. I love a good bargain and repurposing something you already have in your own home..well that’s as bargain as it gets! I did purchase some new pillow covers and the throw at the bottom of the bed, I got it for $9.00! Keeping it simple here for the last few days of summer ☀️ I’m off today on my favorite day of the week but the trade off is working the weekend- I don’t mind though, it’s nice to having a day off during the week.
So today, I will be doing all the things-laundry, cleaning, shopping, sharing my idea board for my guest room refresh. A few weeks ago Ellen @featherglass shared this beautiful ruffled bedspread set and I’m in love! I’ve been searching for something like this and as soon as I saw this on Ellen’s stories I ordered it (and another color) ASAP! I can’t use a traditional bed skirt because of how our bed is constructed (it’s a DIY project using an old farmhouse door- the process is saved in my story highlights) so this is perfect.
I took you on a little tour in my stories of a part of my house never ever seen before (and probably shouldn’t be seen on IG ever). Don’t be nervous, it’s not like a creepy attic or a dark, scary basement or anything (ok maybe it is...) 😬
