Hieeeee friends!!! I want to share one of my new faves with you! I received the @biossance Squalane + Vitamin C Dark Spot Serum free from @influenster in exchange for a review on @sephora & @biossance . I loved it so much I wanted to make sure I wrote a post on it too! So far, I’ve been using the serum nightly for about 2.5 weeks and I love it! I use two squirts of it after washing my face. I let it sit for about 3-10 min before applying my @rosesnroseco liquid filler (use code Kat for 15% off) and @seintofficial Milk night cream (makeup.thekatd.com), or @rosesnroseco Glow Effect cream.

Some benefits of Squalane are:
- Moisture: The primary use and benefit of Squalane is for moisturizing because it can boost hydration. - Acne: It is lightweight and noncomedogenic - Anti-Aging: It has antioxidants that help fight free radicals, which slows down the aging process.  - Collagen: Regular use can increase collagen production for more firm skin. - Anti-Inflammatory & Natural Antibacterial Properties: Can reduce redness & swelling, and speed up skin healing.

Estée Lauder recently launched their Advanced Night Repair serum & Influenster sent me a complimentary sample for review. It has been so good to my skin! I noticed it felt hydrated and more plump. I used it every night for a little more than a week under my normal moisturizer. I really liked the feel, and the slight scent of honey. It’s definitely a product I’d recommend if you’re looking for some hydrating and anti aging skincare!

The Guerlain Fortifying Lotion with Royal Jelly, Youth Watery Oil, and Double R Renew & Repair Serum are 1000% the best smelling skincare I’ve ever used in my life. I want to bathe in it! I want to wear it and have people sniff me. I want to douse myself with it for the scent and the skincare benefits are simply a bonus! I received these sample sets from Guerlain Paris and Sephora as an Influenster Voxbox. My goodness they smell delicious! It’s a sexy scent very atypical of skincare. I usually am a proponent of not having fragrance in skincare because it can be irritating to your skin, but I’ll make the exception for this stuff. And holy Canoli! Yeahhhhhh I might not be doing much bathing in any of these, but if price is no object, then do you boo, because you won’t regret the splurge! The skincare benefits are almost as amazing as the scent. The royal jelly ingredients definitely kept my skin soft, hydrated, and free of blemishes for the week I used the products. I was very satisfied with the products and so happy I was picked to review this Voxbox!

If it’s one thing I’ve learned in my 3 years of building other women’s self confidence through makeup is that you deserve friends who hype you up and make you feel like a million dollars. I have a handful of those friends in real life, and I’m so happy @jessdadlani is one of them. Girlfriend is one of the sweetest, most generous, drop dead gorgeous, hilarious and fun women I know. We went out a few weeks ago (months?) for content pics and there wasn’t a moment she didn’t hype me up. That’s the kind of friends you want in your life! They’ll be there for you in ups and downs. The final of the four ways to do your brows is my personal favorite. Using a brow gel, especially a tinted one, is the easiest way to tame unruly brows and make everything look put together. Gel can help put the finishing touches when used in combination with any of the other 3 methods or with a detailing pen like the one I used here. The pen is basically a fine tipped marker that can leave behind the perfect amount of ink that resembles brow hairs. The gel acts like mascara to thicken hairs and set them in place. I think the pen is the best option for creating hair strokes when you have sparse/non-existent brows. Super Bowl Sunday! Yay! Go team! 🤪 I have no idea how football works, but it looked like a good game. Today usually means wings and beer with football playing in the background ha. No beer for me today, but I decided to experiment making some wings for the first time. If you don’t already follow my friend Cristina @thecastawaykitchen you need to! She makes the most amazing anti-inflammatory recipes. Her journey through controlling her own auto immune disorder led her to publish two recipe books of whole food recipes to help heal her body from the inside out. Having my own auto immune disorder, I have learned the importance of nourishing my body with whole anti inflammatory foods to control my flare ups so I appreciate her dedication to providing us with delicious recipes. My beauty space has improved tenfold since setting up my vanity. My LED mirror extends out from the wall and has multiple daylight and warm light levels. It’s hooked by an arm to extend close to me or push back. The light is perfect for my tutorials and selfie shoots!
