What is your first thought when you hear “capsule wardrobe”? I feel like most people imagine a pretty empty closet built of all neutral pieces and maybe 5 shoes to intermix. You’ve probably seen all those “capsule wardrobe essential” posts in Pinterest that tell you you need 3 plain Ts, a trench coat, a jean jacket, and black Chelsea boots among about the 25 other things you see in every one of those infographics. This moto jacket would probably be considered an “essential”, and that’s probably part of why I got it originally. But as I’ve grown in this journey, I think the idea of capsule wardrobe essentials is total BS. I’m writing a whole blog post about it because I want to share a different perspective than you’re probably used to. It’ll be up on Monday and I can’t wait to hear your thoughts.
