I can’t believe it’s been 3 months since the last time I posted about our marriage. On the blog tonight, I’m talking about a few new ways that we are connecting as a couple. _____________________ I was talking to a friend the other day and she asked me why I wanted to be married (someone had asked her the same). It’s not like it was 50 years ago where you needed a man to provide for you. Today it’s perfectly acceptable to have kids without marriage, sleep with whomever you want without marriage, and seek emotional support from your closets pals. I’m glad it’s changed so much. I wouldn’t want to think that marriage was a must. #liketkit @liketoknow.it My friend and I talked about how we love having the companionship and growing old with someone and that’s enough reason for us to fight hard for our marriages.
