We’re hosting Thanksgiving this year and this is our first time cooking a turkey. Truth be told I’m not really a huge turkey fan but smoked, it’s unreal how good it is! So we got a smoker and a little turkey and we’re giving it a practice run today. We’re back to dark mornings for now, I did hear the birds chirping in the tree outside of school though, so there’s that.
Started the week off in white sneakers and an oversized denim shacket.

A little out of my norm, but still black pants 😆. These are actually super super comfy. True to size.

I am all about a good matching sweatsuit these days and this one is one of the best I’ve found! So super soft and comfy. I love the wide waist band and the wider detail at the ankle. This is the blush color. I sized up and I don’t put it in the dryer, I hang it to dry.

If you can see this gorgeous sweater through the dust on my mirror, you’d be able to see how bright and beautiful it is!!! Today it’s on sale for under $10!!!

Literally my go-to winter weekend outfit.

You guys!!! These sweatpants! 😍 I haven’t had a chance to take a pic of myself in them yet because I pulled them out of the package on Friday and then hit the road (with them). Wore them for a lot of the weekend hanging around the hotel. I literally cannot wait to wash them and wear them again. I sized up and also ordered the matching hoodie which I would do your normal size in. Comfiest clothes ever and so cute with combat boots under a camel coat. The best part and why I wanted to share them so quickly is because they’re on sale!!!

Monday mood for sure today! It was so darn cold today I HAD to wear my grandpa cardigan. I’m actually living in this now if you haven’t noticed. Best $20 treasure I ever did find!

Fridays are jean days and we live we for them! Anyone else do a causal day at work? It’s the little things!

Thursday’s snow day ootd! If felt so good to get out for the first snowshoe trek of the season and it was a good thing I got out too because it’s been FRIGID ever since!

On the doormats we gifted our neighbors we did the personalized ones and had their family name out on them. We ordered the “no need to knock” one for us.

I scored this perfect grandpa cardigan at the cutest little boutique consignment store while I was home for Christmas. The trick is to buy them a few sizes too big. This one is way over sized and it’s what makes it feel like it’s actually my grandpa’s sweater. It’s so cozy and I have been practically living in it. I’m alllllll in with this trend right now! Obviously I can’t link this exact sweater but I have found a few options that are similar…mostly mens too, which will make then a for sure oversized fit.

A skirt in the winter and yes with my pale pale legs, whatever, it’s Michigan! 🤷🏻‍♀️ I told you guys I’m trying really hard to not live in leggings. Nothing against anyone who does though, you do you!

I got this adorable long shacket for Christmas and I love it! Creating quite the shacket collection if I do say so, super easy to style and just so comfortable.
Also got my second pair of these Sam Edelman Laguna Chelsea Boots…I’m a fan!

Back to regularly scheduled programming. I was on a mission to not wear leggings on Monday…had to start strong 😆.

My favorite combat style chelsea boots! So cute with a boot sock, so cute with jeans (any style) skirts and dresses too! So many ways to style! I own both of these but they also come in a few other colors.

These shoes 😍 they added a little festive flare to an otherwise basic leggings outfit. Also, this chenille sweater gives me all the feels and right now it’s half off!

This was the perfect cold weather winter outfit. I was so warm and cozy all day! The best part is that right now everything I am wearing is on sale!
The vest is definitely oversized so I would order one size down from your normal size if you don’t want it so bulky.

I’ve seen these a few times on social but here to say they work! It’s like having extra hands. I love the tape dispensers because I don’t know about you, but when I wrap I always lose the tape somewhere and then have to let go of whatever crease or corner I’m holding. Also love that it holds your paper for you while you cut so you don’t have to worry about it rolling. Anyway, I just wrapped my first five gifts and these things were clutch!

Working on transitioning to 100% cotton, stiffer jeans. Any kind of stretch in a jean just seems to hug the wrong places instead of disguise them. For me, the “jegging” era has ended, you do you though. Here are a few that I ordered today to try, if you want to give them a go to.
