12. Ugly Love by Colleen Hoover :: 10/10 ⭐️ Those last few chapters had me in TEARS! This romance follows Tate, who just moved in with her brother, Corbin. On her first day at her brothers apartment, she unexpectedly meets, Miles, her brothers best friend. Tate and Miles begin a physical relationship on the condition that Tate not ask about Miles past, and that she not expect a future from him. As the book goes on, we learn about Miles’ past and why that request was made. I really enjoyed this book! I fell in love w the way this book was written. Some parts had me laughing out loud, basically Tate’s reactions to situations and her inner dialogue! It’s for SURE steamy AF, like woah. But I was rooting for Tate and Miles the whole time. This would make a great book club book! Highly recommend. There’s a trigger warning for loss, so just keep that in mind.
