When I set out to design and decorate #craftandcouturecasa I envisioned lots of special touches with handcrafted appeal. Pieces that were simple in nature yet striking in form, materials and quality. Now being the luxury lover AND bargain hunter I am, I searched high and low for impactful, budget-friendly lighting accents. Very happy to introduce you to @mattalfordstudio — a talented Cali maker I recently discovered who just nails it with his pieces. Matt shared a reel recently showing his process. Such a treat to watch him in action and know the hands that built a very special part of our home. Discovering and celebrating local small business and artisans has always been very important to me. @coloratelier is another favorite, we turned to them for all our paint and plaster. Our walls, seen here in Limewash paint “Wabi”, create a warm and inviting scene. The subtle mottled tones create depth and texture without feeling overwhelming.
