My aunt (Tita Amor as we knew her growing up), the matriarch of my dad’s side of the family, passed away several months ago. She traveled from the Philippines to the States by herself as a young adult. Lots of tears were shed on her part because she was so homesick. Imagine the culture shock alone! Despite that, she created a life for her family and encouraged the rest of her siblings to follow. I guess you could say she is one of the reasons I am here today. I even named my daughter after her! Ali Amor. Her name means love. 💕 . A loooong time ago, in my stories, I showed you her home. She had the most amazing treasures. From jade collections to ginger jars, to her beloved diamond jewelry. Her house was like a museum. I was lucky enough to inherit this incredible pink foot bath from her. I’m so thankful I have something of hers to always treasure! .
