Loving the updated look this new cement lamp is giving this little corner. ⠀
⠀
Lighting plays such a huge factor in creating a moody ambiance. Don’t you agree?⠀
⠀
But if I’m being honest I hate taking the time to turn all my lamps on and off. I know, I know, you’re probably thinking she’s a lazy (you know what.) But when you’ve got 15 lamps it can become a bit time consuming and many times it’s the last thing that you wanna do right before heading to bed. ⠀
⠀
Which brings me to one of my very favorite things I want to share with you. ⠀
⠀
It goes a little something like this “Alexa turn the lights off”... “Alexa turn the lights on”... “Alexa dim the lights a little”... Alexa change the lights to sunset”... ⠀
⠀
Ok, so you get the idea. This is literally one of my absolute favorite things and the options are almost limitless! You can set the lights to come on at a certain time, set them to turn off at a certain time... You have unlimited “zones” in which you can ask one room to turn off and the other to become brighter... You can change the colors and even have them pulse to music or sirens 😜... (Now I don’t know what that feature is all about but hey the kids enjoy it.) Lastly you can even control them from your mobile device while you’re away. ⠀
⠀
I’ve been dying to share this with you guys because it saves me so much time and just makes life that much easier. ⠀
⠀
You’ll need an echo device and a hue starter kit, which provides the bridge and bulbs... It kinda seems a little pricy at first but honestly it’s with every penny and these bulbs last FOREVER. Its been about 2 years and I haven’t had to replace one. ⠀
