Been wanting to make a cocktail with my favorite salty electrolytes for some time now, this clean summer cocktail is a hit!

SALTY SPICY PALOMA

Equal parts of the following: (I did roughly 2oz each)

Tequila (mine is Kirkland reposado!)
Grapefruit juice
@drinklmnt Sparkling Grapefruit Salt

Shake your juice, tequila and a few slices of jalapeño in your cocktail shaker.

Pour over ice.

Top with the sparkling water!

Garnish with more sliced jalapeño.

But the lessons she taught still are applicable today with affordable drug store makeup products

Any makeup knowledge I have I credit to her, it’s simple, quick, easy, and im sharing it today!

Makeup lessons my AVON mom taught me:

1. Use a yellow corrector for under eyes and under brow line for instant awake eyes. We both love Maybelline’s $5 cover stick.

2. Go one shade lighter than your natural color for your eyebrow pencil so your brows aren’t too dark. For example: my natural hair color is light brown, but I wear blonde eyebrow pencil. We both use Maybelline’s expert wear eyebrow pencils in Blonde.

3. Set your makeup with matte loose powder to reduce shine, and hold in your foundation. She loves Maybelline FitMe loose finishing powder. I love the ease of a compact matte powder like CoverGirl clean matte for oil control.
4. A tinted lip balm is a MUST! In my childhood, she loved the Dr Pepper flavored cherry colored Chapstick 🥹 now she loves Maybelline Baby Lips in Grape. I love Neutrogena Revitalizing Tinted Lip Balm in Fresh Plum.
