Being a parent is a privilege... I learned that the hard way. When we found out our only option to conceive was through IVF, we were devestated. I was so scared about the process and anxious about whether I would become a mom or not. And I kept quiet about it because it felt taboo to discuss it with anyone. I felt alone. But somehow I garnered immense inner strength to get through it- did you know that over 50% of women drop out at various stages of the IVF process bc it’s incredibly challenging. There are many ups and downs. But for the women thinking about or going through IVF, believe me, it’s worth every damn shot ( pardon my French). Be strong. Have faith. My little girl is the best thing to ever happen to me and even when I am exhausted, frustrated, and the days are seemingly endless, I remember what I went through to have her. And I remind myself that she is a gift that I will never take for granted.
