When we bought this house there was a wall that divided the kitchen and living room, the walls were a dark beige, and there were multiple types of flooring. Now we have a light, bright and open space that I LOVE being in. I’m grateful for a space that makes me happy now more than ever (re: a longgg 🤢 pregnancy and newborn days!)

This bedroom is a great example of how you can get a fresh look in a space without buying all new everything. This headboard + rug were existing and the nightstands got a huge makeover by removing decorative moulding and a fresh coat of paint. With just some new bedding + lighting + drapery, it feels so updated and inviting. You don’t have to start from scratch to create a beautiful space!!

I’ve noticed such a huge difference in inspiration, motivation & productivity as I’ve started making changes to my workspace. That lamp right there may be my new favorite accessory in the whole house. It makes me smile almost as much as the desktop organization and the handmade pottery that holds my pens. It’s crazy how these little, seemingly insignificant items can change your mood and then inadvertently your life. I truly believe this with my whole heart, and it’s why I do what I do every day. When you surround yourself with little moments of joy, where you work or where you live, you create a more joyful life.
