🍂IT’S FALL Y’ALL!!! 🍂 This time of year can be particularly hard to plan for - especially when you’re traveling to a different city. My trick to always be the right temperature is to have a great cardigan on hand that can go with practically everything so that I can slip it on during the chillier hours or when we go into a space with the AC blasting. This soft cardigan from #Target is one of my recent favorites that I’ve been wearing while working from home and I packed it with me when I visited Nashville a few weeks back. The oatmeal color really pairs with everything and the balloon arms help to keep the sweater in place. Hello, I’m Emily and I’m a homebody.

While I absolutely love to travel and explore new places, I adore being at my apartment just as much.

Since I’ll be working from home for the foreseeable future, I wanted to carve out one space in my house that felt like a sanctuary.

I immediately knew I wanted it to be my bedroom and I’ve been slowly redecorating to make it feel like an oasis.

I’ve replaced my old bedroom set for this bright pink headboard, my mattress for a Big Fig meant for those with larger bodies, adding different layers of comfort to the bed through pillows and blankets and investing in pajamas that I adore.

After a long day of work, escaping to my bedroom feels like such a luxury. Maybe your oasis is your balcony, or a chair you like to read in - whatever it is, I highly recommend adding a few touches to make it feel like a little escape from the daily grind.
