One of the "fun" things about having MTHFR is finding new options to replace it with. Why? According to Dr. Ben Lynch “One dose of Tylenol trashes your glutathione levels”. As someone who has trouble getting rid of toxins in the body naturally, avoiding acetaminophen is key. What is glutathione? It’s a powerful antioxidant that helps metabolize toxins by binding with them, cleans up the messes free radicals cause, aids in repairing health and removing the junk from the body! Acetaminophen depletes glutathione stores in the liver thus making whatever is causing the issue to stay around. Shared more on the blog! Again, this is not medical advice, just sharing what we’ve been learning. #LTKunder50
