Remember the song “Black Velvet”? I remember My Mom having this song on repeat in the car as a child. And oh how we loved to give our best Alannah Myles impression when it got to the “Black Velvet if you please!” part. I haven’t thought of that song in ages. It’s funny how a tablecloth can take you back to a moment in time so long ago. This Fall, I’m keeping with a slow Southern style…and DECKing the table with Blue Velvet. Teal to be exact, although Black Velvet would bring you to your knees too 😉
