Who says ceilings have to be boring? Join me as I give my home office a jaw-dropping makeover with cheap boho pattern wallpaper I tested from @Temu ! It was less than $7 a roll and I saw the same wallpaper on Amazon for $23 a roll. 🌟

I wanted to see if this peel and stick wallpaper was any good! Which I am delighted to say it exceeded my expectations big time!

It took some serious time to apply this wallpaper since I had to take breaks. My neck was sore. But I was listening to a great audio book while I applied the wallpaper. It made the time fly fast.

However, I honestly don’t know how Michelangelo painted the Sistine chapel ceiling. This was grueling but I am delighted with the after.

I ended up using 19 rolls because I made a couple of mistakes and had to order some additional rolls. Since I used Temu I spent about $130 on this project vs buying on Amazon would have cost me $437!!!! Way over my budget.

What do you think of the finished product? Fun fact! I have already ordered a new ceiling light for this room and I can’t wait to install it and share the AFTER!

You have to see this stunning before and after bathroom transformation!

I decided to paint my tiles anyways back in early 2023 with the help @rustoleum and their floor paint kit and @cuttingedgestencils with a custom floor tile stencil.

Not going to lie, this entire floor from start to finish (not including dry time) took me probably 40 hours!!

With all the details I wanted to add like the distressing over the darker paint with a sponge and white paint to give it an aged patina and the edges I had to clean up post stencil. It was a long process but it was a labor of love and I’m so happy I did it!

Even almost 1 year later this floor paint has held up! No imperfections or peeling has occurred.

I think that speaks volumes of the primer I used as well that is specifically made to repel moisture. And following the instructions on the paint kit I used.

Dry time and cure time should be followed for best results.

I took my master bathroom from early 2000s Tuscan to a modern farmhouse beauty for less than $500. It feels much more calming and serene in this space.

These after clips don’t even include the new vanity fixtures I installed myself after this. I will post that install soon!

I DISAGREE! Making your own candles can be such creative experience. You can choose to use new containers, mason jars, or find some vintage vessels when you thrift to use. You can add flower petals, dried flowers, and any scent you want!

This vintage inspired ribbed glass candy dish turned DIY candle is my new favorite accent piece in my blogging home office! Needless to say I’m not an expert on this but always use common sense — this vintage inspired candle is meant to be a decorative candle so always burn something like this with caution ❤️
