I love colors but I am always very careful and selective about buying colorful clothes. When everything gets so grey and gloomy in winter it’s almost like you can’t help yourself and you start craving for a pop of color and I am no different. Love how camel and blue look together. The easiest way to add a pop of color: go with a floral motif scarf or a shawl (I always make sure mine are 100% wool or cashmere in winter). This one from Sezane has been my favorite lately. Lacoste try on session continues:
1. I am definitely keeping this oversized cable knit v-neck cardigan: it’s easy to wash (says machine wash cold), it looks cute with shorts and tennis skirts and sneakers (wearing it with Lacoste pleated skirt, size 36 and baseshot sneakers in pink).
2. I’m probably going to return this cable knit cashmere vest because I sized up a bit too much (I ordered it in size 40, what was I thinking 🤔😂) and I’m going to order that V-neck cable knit sweater vest instead (it’s on sale right now!)

Can you blame me for obsessing over this gorgeous looking retro style sneakers?
I’ve been thinking about getting Lacoste baseshot sneakers for a while and I simply couldn’t decide on the color so I got them in orange and pink! At the price ($100) that’s rivaling Adidas Samba and gorgeous clean design and superb quality I just can’t see why I didn’t get them sooner. Btw they offer more support than the sambas or the gazelles do and imho the look is a lot more unique and at the same time classy: the definition of preppy style!

Paul Green have always made some amazing shoes and I am quite serious about the following: they actually surpass in quality and durability most if not all high end luxury designer brands. Paul Green Selby loafers in taupe have been the number one pair I always tend to reach for almost every morning, they’re super versatile, comfortable and very extremely easy to style. I also love them in navy and orange colorways and hopefully they’ll make them in dark brown one day too.
